My name is Heather McKnight and I am a UX Designer.I have an Associates of Applied Technology in Cosmetology. I am currently attending Pierce Community College for a degree in New Media and Digital Design(AAS) with a certificate in UX/UI Design, and graduating this year.

My Skills

As a Student, I've created case studies and prototypes following Design System principles as well as built my porfolio website using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. I have experience with various software, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Animate, Maya 3D Modeling, Adobe InDesign, Adobe XD, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Media Encoder, and Adobe Dreamweaver.

As a former Cosmetologist with over 5 years of experience helping clients feel confident and beautiful, I've mastered the art of understanding indicidual needs communicating effectively, and creating solutions tailored specifically to each client. My transistion to UX Design allows me to channel my creativity and empathy into crafting intuitive and user-friendly digital experiences. Allowing me to bring a unique UX/UI design perspective, combining an eye for detail with user-focused innovation.
